  1. 2019 Beerdrinker of the Year is a fun and unique recognition that celebrates not just breweries, but passionate beer enthusiasts who truly live and breathe beer culture. 🍺 It’s interesting how this award highlights individuals who contribute to the beer community through advocacy, appreciation, and public engagement rather than just production.

The 2019 winner, Jodie Kidd, stands out as a great example of how diverse the beer community can be—bringing visibility from outside the traditional brewing world and supporting pubs and local beer culture in a meaningful way. The list of previous winners is also fascinating, showing a long history of notable figures from different backgrounds, including politicians, athletes, writers, and media personalities.

Overall, it’s a great reminder that beer culture is about people as much as it is about the drink itself—community, storytelling, and shared experiences all play a big role in what makes it special. 🍻
